Solid Bolsters are multi-functional devices. Solid Bolsters are best used under the knees for support when the heels are elevated. They may be used in bed as a neck roll. When placed vertically against the resident’s torso, they may be effective in preventing lateral leaning. When placed horizontally against the thigh, bolsters can assist in properly aligning the hips of the seated resident.
All Solid Bolsters are covered with a fluid-proof fabric and are flap-zipper closed to prevent foam from being exposed to body fluids. The foam is a highly resilient polyurethane, expected to maintain its cushioning properties for 8 to 10 years under everyday usage.
